A baby of a deaf and dumb (mumu) have been killed in a motorbike crash at mamanso village in Tonkolili District.
According to eye witnesses at the scene said the woman’s wrapper got hooked on the bike tire which led to the crash and as a result of the crash, the baby got trapped and squeezed under the seat of the motorbike that led to the demise of the young child.
The mute woman in a viral video circulating on social media was seen crying, pacing up and down in shock and pointing at the rider and checking up on her baby’s corpse which was stuck under the seat of the bike.
Chairman of the bike riders union Emmanuel M. Sesay identified the rider of the motorbike as Alfred Sankoh and stated that they will inform the authorities about the incident and to conduct proper investigations into the incident.
