Auto Mechanic in Court for Fraudulent Conversion

Auto Mechanic, Simon Jalloh who is an accused person in an alleged fraudulent conversion has appeared before Magistrate Mark Ngegba on the 16th April, 2021.

According to the case file, the accused person on the date between 1st January and 31st January, 2021 at Seven Battalion Goderich Freetown fraudulent converted to his own use certain properties such as one thirty two (32) inches Samsung Plasma TV valued seven hundred and fifty thousand Leones (Le 750, 000, 00) and one Leather DVD player valued one hundred and fifty thousand Leones (Le 150, 000, 00) at to the total valued of nine hundred thousand Leone (Le 9,000,000/00) property of Emma Philie (complainant).

ASP I.S. Mansaray represented the State and there was no Lawyer for the accused person. The accused person pleaded guilty. The accused was denied bail and remanded the Pademba Road prison. Matter has been adjourned to the 24th April, 2021.
