18yrs old Alusine Komba made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Wednesday 5th January 2022 along main peninsular Road the western area in Freetown did steal by means of trick one IPad value four million Leones(4,000,000) property of Isatu Kamara whilst in the custody of Dauda Kabia.
The charges was read and explained to the accused person and no plea was taken
Counsel representing the accused person A .R Kargbo applied for bail for and on behalf of the accused person pursuant to section 79 2 of the Criminal procedure Act No.32 of 1961.
Noting that he accused person is a Sierra Leonean resident within this jurisdiction and that he has reliable sureties who are willing and ready to enter into recognizance on his behalf and he is not a flight risk nor will he interfere with prosecution witness.
However, Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown and adjourned the matter to the 7th February 2022 inspector Musu E Kpulun is prosecuting the matter
