Yusuf Turay an auto electrician made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916 and Fraudulent conversion contrary to section 20 (1) (iv) (a) of the Larceny Act of 1916
According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 21st August 2021 at Rawdon Street the western area in Freetown did steal Tasabailee one photo shoot light engine valued ten million Leones (10,000,000) property of Samuel Will; on count two the accused person Fraudulently converted to his own use or benefit certain property that is to say the sum of seventy thousand Leones (70,000) entrusted to him by the said complainant for the purpose of repairing one photo shoot light engine
Magistrate Gogra granted the accused person bail in the sum of twenty million Leones with two sureties in like sum sureties to be resident in the western area the said sureties to produce valid identity card depicting his/her addresses in Freetown one surety to be employed the to be approved by the Deputy Acting Registrar.
Sergeant 1462 Amiza John prosecuting and matter adjourned to the 27th January 2022.
