Italian Serie C side Cesena FC confirmed it has acquired Sierra Leonean international Augustus Kargbo from FC Crotone. The Italy-based striker has joined the black-and-white company until June 30, 2026, and will wear the number 10 shirt. Augustus is believed to have joined Cesena FC on the right to the sporting performances.
Augustus Kargbo was part of the Leone Stars squad in Cameroon and was also part of the squad in the qualifying process that helped the team reach the AFCON after 25 years in the wilderness.
Augustus Kargbo has had an outstanding performance for the senior National Team in the current campaign of the Africa Cup of Nations. He started his Footballing Career in Sierra Leone before breaking through to the Italian Leagues.
