In connection to the August 10th insurrection which led to six police officers brutally killed, and civilians murdered in cold blood, caused meaningful Sierra Leoneans living in the United States of America, to call on the International Criminal Court to prosecute Rachel Bangura, Egerton Shabba, Adebayor, Gibril Bangura whom they alleged as inciters of the August 10th 2022 bloody protest.
Sierra Leoneans in United States today called on the International Criminal Court to indict people that have perpetrated violence in Sierra Leone, leading to the death of 6 Law Enforcement Officers, and other innocent Sierra Leoneans.
As Sierra Leoneans in America express anger and agony for the August 10th attack on democracy, one of the demonstrators shouted “We should support our people in Sierra Leone with money and other resources, and not guns and incitement”.
The demonstrators shouted that they do not want war in Sierra Leone. “Politicians should use the ballot box to win power, and not the blood of innocent people”.
The Sierra Leone diaspora Community in United States have appealed to the United States Department of State, and the Department of Homeland Security to facilitate the trial of Rachel Bangura, Egerton Shabba, Gibril Bangura and Adebayor for crimes committed against humanity in Sierra Leone.
