27yrs old Mohamed Kamara, a fitter made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count of Assault Occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the offences against the person Act 1861.
According to the particulars of offence on Wednesday 22nd June 2022 at No.1 Henesson Street New England Ville the western area in Freetown assaulted Mohamed Mustapha Koroma in a manner thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm.
The prosecution told the bench that the facts stand as charged and there are no available records.
The accused pleaded for mercy.
He was sentenced to one week imprisonment to the male correctional center in Freetown inspector Musu E Kpulun is prosecuting the matter.
