The second phase of the voters registration process has commenced and the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has re-trained its agents to be more vigilante in reporting incidences of under aged registration masterminded by members of the main opposition APC party.
Speaking to this medium, the District Chairman, Alhaji Mohamed Saiffa said the party is well prepared to ensure that under age registration is not encouraged adding that who so ever is caught will be handed over to the police for investigation. He said no under aged individual should be instigated to register because it is unlawful.
He called on the people of Bombali District to unite and not allow politics to divide them. He said President Bio is a man of peace and a unifier as according to him that is why they have been preaching oneness irrespective politics.
The party agents like others in other political parties, were deployed across the registration centers to observe and furnish their parties with relevant information.
It could be recalled that the party went far away to Mapaki and Safroko Limba Chiefdoms to train their agents on what to do, and their deployment in the centres according to political observers in Makeni City has helped in reducing malpractices in the registration process.
