The government of President Julius Maada has effected a sudden cabinet reshuffle with the notable name of former APC strongman Alpha Kahn surfacing. He is now the new resident minister north western region.
Political pundits say the appointment is strategic as Alpha Kahn is good communicator and diplomatic to win hearts and minds of his native tribal folks that are fixated to the opposition All Peoples Congress.
Other names in the appointment include Sadiq Sillah who will go to Egypt as Ambassador.
Dr. Amara Jambai is appointed Chairman National Covid 19 Emergency Response Center.
Dr. Siaka Bangura who has been serving as Chairman NaCOVERC has now been relocated to ministry of Finance as Deputy Minister 1.
