A Non- Old Boy of SPSS- PUJEHUN  Andrew Jaiah Kaikai had gratified  his commitments by paying a backlog Stipend to Part-team Teachers at St’ Paul Secondary School in Pujehun while encouraging old boys to complement his effort with the needful support.

It could be noted that the Chief Immigration Officer on visit to S.P.S.S during the  voter registration process, pledged to make payment of stipend for two (2) part -term teachers with a backlog making a total of Six (6) months. In that short assembly talk at SPSS, CIO shared that he never attended SPSS as all his life, he achived his Primary and secondary Education in a Military background School in Freetown before leaving for the US to study Law.

After that successful engagement with pupils of St. Paul’s, he held a meeting with the principal and staff of the school and during the short but productive meeting, the School principal, Foday Massaquoi while praising the move of the CIO to motivate people to participate in the process used the opportunity to share constraints faced by his administration, ranging from lack of adequate approved teachers to accommodation for Pupils.

Massaquoi expressed fear of losing additional part-term teachers as a result of limited funds to pay their stipend and motivating them to stay.

The Wanjama philanthropist hearing these challenges swiftly responded by committing to pay the backlog for the part-term teacher and going forward will be responsible for another teacher with monthly stipend with an immediate 100% increase for 6 (Six) Months as a reward for their patience, diligent services, and most importantly contributing to capacity building of the future generation.

Adhering to his commitment, CIO made 80% payment at that time and has Today Friday 21st April, 2023. Completed making payment for the remaining Months while encouraging Old boys to step in and complement his effort for the needful assistance.
