Detective Police Sergeant Bockarie Kallon attached to the Anti Fraud Unit at the Criminal Investigation Department Pademba Road, on Monday 17th October, 2022 testified how he Charge the United Bank of Africa (UBA) theft matter involving one of their staff Patrick Abubakar Moore.
The accused Moore was arraigned before Magistrate Mark Ngagba of Pademba Road Court No.1 for 6 count charges of Larceny by servant.

65yrs old Saio Kamara a Petty trader, 36yrs old Joseph Kamara a business man and 30yrs Josephine Kamara a business woman made another appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on three court charges Conspiracy to defraud contrary to law and two Count ranging from Obtaining money by false pretences contrary to section 32 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916
According to the particulars of offence on dates between Wednesday 29th December 2021 to Wednesday 2nd January 2022 at No.31 old railway line Brookfields the western area in Freetown conspired together with intent to defraud the sum of three hundred and eighty five million Leones(385,000,000) from Alhaji Ibrahim Sorie Jalloh with pretext of having seven town lot at Hastings Freetown for sale knowing same to be false on count two at the same place on the 29th December 2021 with intent to defraud obtained the sum of one hundred and seventy million(170,000,000) from the said Alhaji Ibrahim Sorie Jalloh by falsely pretending that they have a piece of seven town lots of land for sale knowing same to be false on count three at the same place on the 2nd February 2022 with intent to defraud obtained the sum of two hundred and fifteen million Leones(215,000,000) from Alhaji Ibrahim Sorie Jalloh by falsely pretending that you have a piece of seven town lots of land for sale knowing same to be false
On their first appearance the charges were read and explained to the accused persons and they pleaded not guilty
However counsel representing the accused persons was absent whilst the prosecution witness was present
Meanwhile Magistrate Ngegba refused bail and sent both accused persons to the male and female correctional center in Freetown matter adjourned to the 25th October 2022 for further hearing Sergeant 9155 Dwight Macarthy prosecuting the Matter
