19 years old James Korossa made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on a count of Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Monday 4th December 2023 at Sankay Street the western area in Freetown Stole one black coloured ladies hand bag containing the sum of two hundred Leone, one Samsung mobile phone charger, one pair ear pod, key holder, two electoral commission voters identity card bearing the names Hanna Cole and Hanna Williams and one guarantee trust bank customer identity card bearing the name Hanna Cole all to the total value of one thousand three hundred and fifty Leones( Le 1,350) property of the said Hanna Williams.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused person, he pleaded not guilty.
The accused person was unrepresented by legal representative Meanwhile Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional facility in Freetown matter adjourned to the 21st December 2023 for further hearing Inspector Musu Edna Kpulun prosecute the matter
