22 years old Albert Coker made his first appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba road court No.3 in Freetown on a count of House breaking and Larceny contrary to section 26 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 19th August 2023 at 3 Aruna Street the western area in Freetown with intent to steal broke and entered into the dwelling house of Nmamah Bangura and stole therein the physical cash of four thousand five hundred Leones, one black sharp DVD and one water heater all to the total value of five thousand seven hundred and ten Leones (5710) Properties of the said Nmamah Bangura.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused person; no plea was taken.
The prosecutor Sergeant 9155 Dwight Macarthy told the bench that his witness was absent and requested a short adjournment date.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Bangura refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown and matter was adjourned to 6th September 2023 for further hearing.
