Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Brima Kanneh has returned to Sierra Leone after completing a successful two-week international assignment in Kenya. His performance has earned widespread praise across the southern region for his unwavering commitment to effective policing and regional security.
Since his posting to the southern region, AIG Kanneh has become known for his proactive and hands-on leadership style. His efforts have significantly improved law enforcement outcomes, especially in combating drug trafficking, theft, and other serious crimes. Community leaders, stakeholders, and residents have commended his professionalism, discipline, and dedication to service delivery.
AIG Kanneh’s recent assignment in Kenya further demonstrated his leadership on the international stage. He played a vital role in ensuring the peaceful and transparent conduct of the Barry Chiefdom elections. Under his leadership, the electoral process was free of major incidents. His direct involvement in monitoring the elections to ensure fairness earned the respect of both local observers and international partners.
