The New Country Director for the African Development Bank in Sierra Leone, Madam Halima Hashi has on the 24th March, 2021 presented her letters of Credence to the Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mrs. Nabeel’s F.Tunis, at the Ministry of Foreign and International Cooperation, Tower Hill, Freetown.
In her brief remarks, the new African Development Bank Country Director to Sierra Leone, Madam Hashi, informed Minister Tunis that the African Development Bank is supportive to the Government of Sierra Leone in terms of water and sanitation projects and also Transport and Energy initiatives.
In her response, Minister Tunis affirmed that she had a great relationship with the predecessor of Madam HashI, expressing hope that the good relationship will continue.
Minister Tunis further promised to have a more detailed discussion with the new AfDB Country Director in the coming weeks in which she will share Government priorities.
