Twenty-years-old Saidu Kamara a pupil and Saidu Sipoe a motorbike rider made another appearance before Magistrate Mamakoh Saio Kallon of Pademba road court in Freetown on three count charges to wit Conspiracy contrary to law and two count ranging from Larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 19th November 2024 at last banking Aberdeen the western area in Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit Larceny.
Count two and three further stated that on the same date and place both accused persons stole one Samsung galaxy mobile phone valued eight thousand Leones (8,000) of East Eastmond Coker.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused persons, they pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor Sergeant 9906 Umu presided over the matter as witness.
The accused persons were not legally represented and pleaded with the magistrate to temper justice with mercy on his behalf.
Due to the plea mitigation by the accused persons, the Magistrate Kallon sentenced them to Twenty-four months imprisonment to the male correctional facility in Freetown.
