In a highly anticipated and tense event, delegates of the Northwest Football Association have re-elected Abdul Osman Turay, popularly known as AOT, as their chairman.
Turay secured victory with 12 votes, reaffirming his leadership and continued commitment to football development in the region. His re-election comes as no surprise to many, given his track record in youth empowerment and grassroots football growth across the Northwest.
In his acceptance speech, Turay expressed gratitude to the delegates for placing their trust in him once again. “Thank you for believing in my leadership. I promise to continue promoting football in our region with integrity and a strong focus on development,” he said.
Turay’s leadership is widely credited with laying a solid foundation for football progress in the Northwest, and his re -election signals continuity in the region’s ambition to further strengthen its football structures.
