Ports Authority FC recorded their first victory of the 2026/27 Leone Rock Premier League season with a narrow 1-0 win over Mighty Blackpool at the Approved School Field on Saturday, 31 October 2026.

Alieu A. Kamara scored the decisive goal in the 75th minute to hand the Waterfront Boys all three points and boost their campaign after a difficult start to the season.

Mighty Blackpool, popularly known as the Tis Tas Boys, pushed for an equalizer in the closing stages but were repeatedly denied by Ports Authority goalkeeper Saio Conteh, who produced another impressive performance to register his third clean sheet of the campaign. He made crucial saves to deny Sulaiman M. Conteh and Alimamy Kamara.

Waterloo FC responded strongly after the break and restored parity in the 79th minute. Samuel Bob Mansaray delivered an excellent cross, which Roye Freeman met with a well-directed header to level the score at 1-1.

Despite late attempts by both sides to secure a winner, neither team could find the breakthrough as the encounter ended in a stalemate.

The result keeps Waterloo FC, popularly known as the Fry Fish Boys, unbeaten after four matches, with eight points from two wins and two draws. Their latest draw follows another 1-1 stalemate against East End Lions in Week Three.

FC Kallon, meanwhile, moved to five points from three matches in the ongoing campaign.

The Leone Rock Premier League continues across the country, with clubs seeking to strengthen their positions as the season progresses.
