Magistrate Mustapha Brima Jah of Pademba Road Court No. 1 has refused bail to 18-year-old Alimamy Bayoh, who is facing a charge of House Breaking with Intent, and remanded him at the Male Correctional Centre in Freetown.
Bayoh is charged with one count of House Breaking with Intent, contrary to Section 27(2) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of the offence, on Monday, August 27, at Mamudu Town, Gloucester Village, Mountain Rural District, Western Area, Freetown, the accused allegedly broke and entered the dwelling house of Boima Momoh with intent to commit a felony.
During the proceedings, DPC 18456 Linda Teh informed the court that she had served the accused with a copy of the case and inquiry file.
The accused was not legally represented and acknowledged receipt of the case and inquiry file.
Magistrate Jah subsequently refused bail, citing the seriousness of the alleged offence, and ordered that Bayoh be remanded at the Male Correctional Centre.
The matter was adjourned to September 29, 2026.
