The newly elected Board of Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL), headed by Chairman Francis Trevor Samura, has engaged Kadat Group on preparations for the inaugural Bravely T20 Cricket Premier League 2026.
The engagement, held on Friday at Kadat Group’s headquarters in Kingtom, Freetown, brought together CSL officials and representatives of Kadat Group, including Kishore Kumar Parwani, CEO of Kadat Foods and Beverages.
The discussions focused on preparations for what organizers described as a major addition to Sierra Leone’s cricket calendar, with both sides outlining plans to deliver the league in line with international standards.
Under the proposed arrangements, matches will be livestreamed and scored live, while pre-match and post-match interviews will be conducted against customized backdrops. Organizers also plan to introduce a range of activities ahead of the league to build excitement among cricket fans.
Meanwhile, newly elected CSL Vice Chairman David Nelson Williams has donated NLe28, 400 towards the refurbishment of the existing dressing room at the Kingtom Oval in Freetown.
The contribution is part of efforts to improve facilities ahead of the Bravely T20 Premier League 2026.
CSL Chairman Francis Trevor Samura described the donation as timely, noting that it would support ongoing efforts to renovate the dressing room.
He said the funds would be used to replace the existing steel windows in the dressing rooms with sliding windows.
Samura thanked Vice Chairman Williams for what he described as a selfless contribution to the development of cricket in Sierra Leone.
The donation came shortly after Williams presented laptop computers to the newly appointed Chairman of the Bravely T20 Premier League, Baimba Mustapha.
