A 23-year-old man, Solomon Nyakeh of 4 Gwent Heights, off Hill Cut Road, Freetown, has appeared before Magistrate John Manso Fornah at Pademba Road Magistrate Court No. 2 in Freetown on a charge of larceny in a dwelling house.
Nyakeh is charged under Section 13(a) of the Larceny Act, 1916.
According to the charge sheet, the accused allegedly entered the residence of Sahr Foday Kpakima at Gwent Heights, off Hill Cut Road, Freetown, on 7th May 2026, with the intention of stealing. He is accused of taking away a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE mobile phone valued at Le10,000, belonging to the complainant.
During the proceedings, the prosecution informed the court that the complainant was absent and applied for a subpoena to compel the witness to appear at the next hearing.
Magistrate Fornah granted the application and adjourned the matter until 29th July 2026 for further hearing.
