According to the particulars of offence, on Thursday, 9 April 2026, at Car Wash Old School, Hill Station, in the Western Area of Freetown, the first defendant, Abdulia Turay, allegedly stole one Honda motorcycle engine, two motorcycle engine casings, and two motorcycle tyre rims, all valued at Le 9,800, property of Alpha Koroma.

The second count stated that on the same date and at the same location, the second defendant, Joseph Trawallie, received the same items one Honda motorcycle engine, two motorcycle engine casings, and two motorcycle tyre rims valued at Le 9,800, knowing them to be stolen property belonging to Alpha Koroma.

When the charges were read and explained to both defendants, they pleaded guilty.

Magistrate Fornah subsequently ordered that both defendants be remanded at the male correctional facility in Freetown for record and sentencing. The matter was adjourned to 22 April 2026 for sentencing.
