A 40-year-old Ghanaian contractor, Augustine Elliots, and a 24-year-old carpenter, Samura, have made another appearance before Magistrate John Manso Fornah at Pademba Road Court No. 2 in Freetown. The two are facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and larceny in a dwelling house.

The accused are charged under conspiracy contrary to law and Section 13(a) of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of the offence, on an unknown date between September 2025 and January 2026 at Mansaray Drive, Regent, in the Western Area of Freetown, the defendants allegedly conspired together, along with other persons unknown, to commit a felony, namely larceny in a dwelling house.

Count two further states that on the same date and place, the defendants, with intent to steal, allegedly broke into the dwelling house of Robert Parker and stole six cartons of 60×60 tiles, a water pump machine, and other assorted items, all valued at a total of Le26,135, property of Robert Parker.

When the charges were read and explained in court, both defendants pleaded not guilty.

The prosecution, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Sorie Conteh, applied for a short adjournment to allow subpoenas to be served on absent prosecution witnesses.

Magistrate Fornah refused bail and ordered that both defendants be remanded at the male correctional facility in Freetown. The matter was adjourned to 22nd April 2026 for further hearing.
