The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has welcomed two FIFA instructor coaches ahead of the FIFA Development Scheme Elite Youth Goalkeeper Coaches’ Workshop, scheduled to take place from 13th-17th April at the SLFA Academy.

The workshop, themed “Supporting youth goalkeeper coaches to build a bright future for tomorrow’s superstars,” will be facilitated by Alejandro Alfredo Heredia and Cameron Euston Cox, who bring a wealth of international experience and technical expertise.

The instructors were received by SLFA Technical Director John Keister, who underscored the critical importance of investing in youth goalkeeper development as a foundation for long-term football success in Sierra Leone.

The programme aims to equip local coaches with modern goalkeeping techniques, training methodologies, and best practices to help nurture and develop the next generation of elite goalkeepers in the country.
