Borboh Barrie -Ivorian Sillas Foundation, has extended its support to the Sierra Leone Tennis Association with the donation of a champions trophy for the National Championships.
As part of the presentation, the Foundation also handed over two “Say No to Drugs, Say No to Violence” banners to support their ongoing awareness campaign against drug abuse and violence.
The event was attended by members of the Foundation, including Musu “Pele,” Baby White, Nakata Jackson, Barrie Alpha, and Esther Kamara. The trophy was officially presented to the President of the Sierra Leone Tennis Association, Andy Bam.
This initiative is part of the Foundation’s wider effort to eradicate drugs and violence at all levels through continuous advocacy and sensitization.
Receiving the items, the President of the Association expressed gratitude to Borboh Barrie-Ivorian Sillas Foundation for their support, noting that the donation will help boost the National Championships and promote tennis development in the country. He also assured that the Association will continue to advise and encourage its athletes to stay away from drugs and violence.
