Mustapha Kpaka, a tiler and laborer, appeared before Magistrate Julian Mary Gbloh at Pademba Road Court No. 5 facing a count charge of larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of the offence, on Saturday, 31 January 2026, at #9 Old Railway Line, Tengbeh Town, Western Area, Freetown, the defendant allegedly stole one ton of 5/8 iron rods and other assorted items, with a total value of ninety-three thousand Leones (Le 93,000), belonging to the Abundant Life Faith Ministry International Church.
When the charge was read and explained, the defendant pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutor Sergeant 5598 served the defendant with a bundle containing the witness statements.
Magistrate Gbloh refused bail and remanded the defendant to the Male Correctional Facility in Freetown. The case was adjourned to 6 March 2026.
