National Revenue Authority Strengthens Corporate Engagement with Orange Sierra Leone

As part of its ongoing engagement with major corporate taxpayers, the National Revenue Authority (NRA) on Tuesday received a delegation from Orange Sierra Leone at its Head Office on Gloucester Street, Freetown, to mark a leadership transition within the telecommunications company.

The visit provided an opportunity for Orange Sierra Leone to formally introduce its new Chief Executive Officer, Madam Aicha Touré, to the Commissioner-General of the NRA, Mrs. Jeneba J. Bangura, while reaffirming the company’s commitment to constructive collaboration with the Authority.

Speaking during the engagement, outgoing Chief Executive Officer Mr. Sekou Amadou Bah reflected on the strong working relationship between Orange Sierra Leone and the NRA, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in promoting effective tax compliance and revenue mobilization.

In her remarks, Commissioner-General Mrs. Bangura welcomed Madam Touré and reiterated the NRA’s commitment to maintaining open and structured dialogue with corporate stakeholders. She stressed that continuous engagement particularly regarding the implementation of the Finance Act 2026 is critical to enhancing clarity, transparency, and voluntary tax compliance.

Madam Touré expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed Orange Sierra Leone’s readiness to work closely with the NRA in support of national development and sustainable economic growth in Sierra Leone.
