The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) is set to launch CAF A, B, and C Diploma Refresher courses aimed at local coaches nationwide.
These training programs are designed to uphold high coaching standards and align local coaches with modern football trends and methodologies.
The Technical Department will focus on updating coaches on contemporary tactics, techniques, and player development. Upon completing the courses, coaches will receive a Sierra Leone Football Association Coaching license, valid for three years in accordance with CAF guidelines.
Interested applicants are encouraged to collect their application forms from the Technical Department of the SLFA.
It’s worth noting that the previous administration organized a series of coaching programs to enhance the skills of local coaches across the country.
According to the SLFA press release, the fees for the refresher courses are as follows: CAF A course is 3,000 New Leones, CAF B is 2,000 New Leones, and CAF C is 1,000 New Leones. The courses will run from January 19 to January 28, 2026.
The last coaching training conducted by the SLFA took place in 2016, making this initiative particularly significant for local coaches.
