Property Dispute Rocks Mansaray Family as United Kingdom-Based Sibling Wanted for Investigation

A shocking case of alleged betrayal has rocked the Mansaray family in Freetown, Sierra Leone, with one of their own siblings, Mr. Mohamed Yusuf Mansaray, accused of selling a family property without permission and refusing to pay the agreed sum of $80,000 (approximately Le640,238,208) to his siblings

According to a police report filed at the Lumley Police Division on July 30, 2020, Mr. Lansana Mansaray and Amid Mansaray, both traders and half-brothers of the accused, reported that Mohamed Yusuf Mansaray had sold their family property located at No. 8 Access  Road Babadorie Lumley, Freetown, without their consent.

In an interview with Mr. Lassana Manasary, with this medium after a complained was made in the police station. He said the property was gifted to five siblings by their late father, Mr. Sorie Ibrahim Mansaray. He noted that the  agreement was that Mohamed Yusuf Mansaray would pay back the money after relocating to the United Kingdom, but he has  refused to comply, ignoring communications from family members and failing to make any payments since  June 2019.

The police have confirmed that the accused is currently living in the UK  and wanted by the authorities at the Regional Headquarters Freetown West Region, Lumley Police Station, as investigations are ongoing.

The case highlights the growing concern of family property disputes and a matter of proper investigation  in Sierra Leone and the need for individuals to respect agreements and family ties.

However, sources close to the affected family members have  threatened that if mohamed Y. Mansary decided to returned to Freetown without their money death awaits him, and  also some of the affected members has threatened that if the accused step his foot in Freetown,without honoring the payment, they will use all mean to eliminate his life through witchcraft and gang attack .

The Mansaray family is seeking investigation and urging Mohamed Yusuf Mansaray to come forward and address the allegations.
