Chief Minister Engages Junior Staff on Professionalism and Service Delivery

Chief Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh has engaged junior staff of the Office of the President at State House in a strategic and motivational session aimed at strengthening institutional effectiveness and improving service delivery on Friday 19th December 2025.

The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts to reinforce professionalism, accountability, and inclusive leadership within the Presidency, while recognizing junior staff as critical contributors to the smooth and efficient functioning of government operations.

During the interactive dialogue, Dr. Sengeh emphasized the importance of discipline, integrity, and teamwork, describing these values as key drivers in building a responsive and efficient public service. He underscored the role of continuous learning and mentorship in empowering staff to perform their duties with excellence, noting that strong internal communication and high staff morale directly translate into better coordination, faster response times, and improved service delivery at State House.

Speaking on behalf of the junior staff, Musu commended the Chief Minister for the timely engagement, describing it as inspiring and confidence-building. She reaffirmed the staff’s commitment to professionalism and collective responsibility, emphasizing their readiness to apply the guidance received in support of the Presidency’s governance agenda.

Delivering the vote of thanks, Helen Sesay expressed appreciation to the Chief Minister and senior leadership for the inclusive approach and encouragement demonstrated during the session. She noted that the engagement had strengthened staff motivation and clarity of purpose, which would enhance efficiency, accountability, and dedication to public service.
