On 23rd November 2025, the Children of Moses Village Headquarters Sierra Leone achieved a historic milestone when it received one of the nation’s most prestigious recognitions the Humanitarian Organization of the Year Award. Presented during the 7th Annual Humanitarian Goodwill Awards Ceremony by the Orphan Empowerment Society (TOES-Sierra Leone), the honor celebrates the organization’s extraordinary contributions to humanitarian development, social welfare, and the protection of orphaned and vulnerable children across the African continent.
The award was received on behalf of the Village and its global community by *His Imperial Majesty Melemoeshe Bynyhwh, Premiere-General Queen Mother Shani, Her Majesty Queen Mother Barbara, and Premiere-General Emmanuel Abu Bakarr Turay.
In presenting the award, TOES commended the Children of Moses Village for its exemplary dedication to humanitarian development, outstanding service in child welfare and social protection, transformative impact on community empowerment, commitment to transparency, integrity, and ethical leadership, lifesaving support for orphans living in extreme poverty and sustained efforts to uplift widows, vulnerable households, and marginalized communities

During the ceremony, the United Kingdoms of Africa Federation officially welcomed the Children of Moses Foundation as a Royal Affiliated Member marking a new chapter of collaboration, growth, and humanitarian unity.
This affiliation is a covenant built on three pillars: Liberation: Breaking the chains of oppression. Restoration: Rebuilding the lives of orphans, widows, and neglected families. Hope: Empowering the next generation through dignity, education, and opportunity
Together, the Federation and the Children of Moses Village commit to eradicating extreme poverty, expanding access to healthcare, strengthening humanitarian protection systems, empowering youth through education and skills training, providing safe homes and nurturing environments and building sustainable, peaceful communities.
At its Sierra Leone headquarters, the Children of Moses Village continues to grow into a vibrant center for child development and community advancement. Planned expansions include modern residential homes for orphans, advanced educational institutions, vocational training centers, healthcare and social welfare facilities and peacekeeping and humanitarian coordination missions.

The Government of Sierra Leone particularly the Ministries of Social Services and Health was commended for its support during a time of increasing challenges facing orphans and widows nationwide.
