In a dramatic finish at the Southern Arena Stadium, Ibrahim Kamara’s stunning bicycle kick in the 88th minute led Bo Rangers FC to a thrilling victory over defending champions East End Lions FC.
The match began with East End Lions taking an early lead in the 7th minute, thanks to a sensational strike from Alie Conteh, which found the back of the net.
Bo Rangers quickly responded; in the 29th minute, Mohamed Lamin leveled the score at 1-1. Saidu Bah then put the home side ahead with a powerful finish following a swift counterattack down the right flank.
Alie Conteh, in fine form, struck again in the 52nd minute, equalizing the match at 2-2. Both teams pushed hard for the win, but it was Ibrahim Kamara’s remarkable bicycle kick from inside the box that ultimately decided the contest, securing a hard-fought victory for Bo Rangers.
In another match at Approved Schools playing field, Port Authority FC secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Freetonians SLIFA, with two goals from Abass Conteh and one from Joseph Cleveland marking their first victory of the Leone Rock Premier League campaign.
At Port Loko Stadium, Bai Bureh Warriors FC triumphed over Kamboi Eagles FC with a score of 2-1, securing an important win for the warriors of Port Loko.
