The Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) has imposed a fine of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Leones (NLe150,000) on the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) for violating Section 39(1)(d) of the Political Parties Act No. 25 of 2022.

The fine follows remarks made by SLPP member Wusu Dadiddah Jalloh during a broadcast on Liberty Online Television on Monday, 24th November 2025, which the Commission described as incendiary and inciting.

The PPRC noted that the SLPP had previously been cautioned against contravening the provisions of the Act, through a letter dated 11th November 2025.
