CSL Ends 4-Day Training For 120 Physical Health Education Teachers in Bo

Four-day training for one hundred and twenty Physical Health Education teachers at the Bo Government Secondary School in Bo District Southern region Sierra Leone.

The programme covered entry-level programme elp, Criiio Cricket programme Facilitator training for Sxhool teachers  drawn from sixty schools: 25 secondary schools and 35 primary schools in Bo District Southern Sierra Leone

One of the beneficiaries, Elizabeth Seffoi, a teacher from YWCA, expressed her joy for the opportunity given to them by CSL. “I love the game and will want to  continue playing and delivering it in my  school and community ,” she added.

The participants received ICC certificates having completed the following courses: Criiio Cricket Facilitator Training,  ICC Coaching and Umpiring Foundation Courses, and ICC Coaching  and Umpiring Level 1.

This year, CSL has trained four hundred   Pysical Healyh Education teachers: 200 from the Western Area Urban and (80 ) from Moyamba DistrictSouthern region, and now (120) from Bo District.

This is in a bid to boost CSL’s coaching base to deliver its ongoing Cricket 4 Schools Programme , achieving its target of training (1,000) Teachers on entry level programme and Criiio Cricket Facilitator Training to enable athem deliver cricket in Schools and  will also contribute to the ICC Legacy initiative for Africa, whose ambition is to train 21,000 teachers by 2027 when Africa is going to host the ICC T20 Men’s Cricket World Cup.
