On the sidelines of the CAF Awards 2025, the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, today paid a high-level courtesy visit to the newly established FIFA Regional Office in Rabat, Morocco.
President Kamara was warmly received by Elhaj Wack Diop, Head of the FIFA Regional Office, and Fatou Camara, Development Manager, with whom he held a productive and forward-looking engagement.
Discussions focused on President Kamara’s first 100 days in office, highlighting key reforms, renewed corporate confidence, and ongoing developmental strides achieved under his leadership. The meeting also explored his continued plans for strengthening football development in Sierra Leone, particularly in the areas of competitions, youth development, and infrastructure expansion.
President Kamara’s visit forms part of his official mission to Morocco, where he is scheduled to attend the CAF Awards 2025 and participate in an in-person meeting with CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, alongside presidents of all 54 CAF member associations.
The engagement in Rabat underscores President Kamara’s commitment to building strategic partnerships and leveraging global football platforms to advance the sport in Sierra Leone.
