Sierra Leone Football Association Pays Le750,000 to Premier League Winners

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has successfully concluded the financial cycle for the 2023/24 Sierra Leone Premier League season and announced the full payment of prize money to the league’s winners and runners-up.

In a public notice dated November 10, 2025, SLFA confirmed that the two top teams, Bo Rangers Football Club and Bhantal Football Club have received their owed prize monies, and that the league champions, Bo Rangers Football Club, were paid the sum of Nle 500,000 and the runners-up Bhantal Football Club received Nle 250,000.

The payment officially settled the association’s financial commitments to the clubs following a competitive 2023/24 campaign. SLFA commended the clubs for maintaining patience, and used the announcement to extend its appreciation to both clubs.

Since the completion of the 2023/2024 Sierra Leone Premier League the then board have failed to paid the champions and runners up which has spark huge debate among Football loving fans on what has cost the delayed of the payment.

With the payment of these funds will be a big  boost for the clubs as they work will the funds to continue their Clubs development.
