The Ministry of Gender and Children’s Affairs (MoGCA) has engaged with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in Sierra Leone to discuss the “Women in Finance and Land Rights” initiative.
The initiative is designed to promote women’s empowerment and ensure equitable access to land and financial resources.
Honorable Isata Mahoi, the Minister of Gender and Children’s Affairs, expressed her gratitude to the FAO for its efforts in advancing women’s empowerment in Sierra Leone. She reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring equitable access to land and financial resources for women, recognizing the critical role they play in the country’s development.
The FAO has pledged to continue supporting initiatives that promote the inclusion and rights of women in Sierra Leone.
