The Ministry of Technical and Higher Education (MTHE) has commenced a thorough selection process for the 2026 postgraduate Commonwealth Scholarship Programme, interviewing promising Sierra Leonean applicants seeking this prestigious opportunity.

As the interviews began, Acting Student Secretary George A. Dambo addressed the applicants, emphasizing the highly competitive nature of the Commonwealth Scholarship. “This is not a handout but a competitive award granted to the most deserving candidates,” Mr. Dambo declared. He also warned against any form of bribery, reaffirming the Ministry’s zero-tolerance policy on corruption in scholarship selections.

Director of Higher Education, Emmanuel J.
