Two Security Guards Appear in Court on Alleged Wounding Charges

Gibrilla Sesay, a 38-year-old security guard, and Isha Sesay, an 18-year-old security guard, made another appearance before Magistrate Mamakoh Saio Kallon of Pademba Road Court No. 3 in Freetown, facing two charges: wounding contrary to Section 20 of the Offences Against the Person Act of 1861, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, contrary to Section 47 of the same Act.

According to the particulars of the offence, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the Audit Building, Tower Hill, in the Western Area of Freetown, the defendants allegedly maliciously wounded and assaulted Alie Turay, causing him actual bodily harm.

When the charges were read and explained to the defendants, both pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Detective Police Constable 17220 Joel B. Sannoh, requested a short adjournment to present his witness.

Magistrate Kallon adjourned the matter to October 9, 2025, and granted continued bail for the defendants.
