SLFA President Leads Delegation to Marampa Mines

The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara,today, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, led a high-powered delegation to the Marampa Mines Limited (MML) in Lunsar Town, where he presented a sponsorship proposal aimed at boosting the Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League.

Accompanying the President were Vice President 1 Ali Badaraa Tarawallie; Vice President 2, Prince Kai Saquee; Chairman of the Northwest Regional Football Association, Abdul Osman Turay; and Ex-Officio member, Mohamed Sorie Jalloh. Also part of the delegation were Acting General Secretary, Mohamed Benson Bawoh, and the Women’s League Secretary, Angela Gabidon Esq.

The SLFA team was warmly received by the Mohamed Director of Marampa Minies, Angula Kalili together with Finance Director, Simba Michaela. Marampa Mines Limited, located in the Port Loko District in the northern province of Sierra Leone, is a world-class and globally competitive iron ore producer.

Discussions during the visit were highly fruitful and set the stage for a promising partnership between SLFA and Marampa Mines. The collaboration is expected to significantly enhance the growth and development of women’s football in Sierra Leone.
