Aiah Yambo, a man who engages in Evangelist work has been arrested and charged to Court by the Police after entering into the dwelling house of one Billian Moseray, where he allegedly stole ten million Leones.
The accused on Wednesday 2nd June 2021 appeared before Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker of Court No. 3 of Pademba road court in Freetown on a count of larceny in a dwelling house contrary to Section 13 (a) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the charge sheet, the accused Aiah Yambo on Saturday 29th May 2021, at Mwa lane, Gbedembu Goderich, Freetown, entered into the dwelling house of Billian Moseray and stole therein ten million Leones property of the said Billian Moseray.
When the charges were read no plea was taken and the accused was not represented by a counsel. He was remanded in custody.

In another development in the same Court and Magistrate, one Bai Thomasville Koroma who told the court that he is a business man, took thirty six million Leones from a lecturer at IPAM, Isatu Mahoi for land. The accused is answering to three counts, two counts of obtaining money by false pretenses contrary to Section 32 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916 and causing money to be paid by means of fraud contrary to Section 32 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the charge sheet on count 1 and 2, the accused Bai Thomas Koroma on Tuesday 15th September 2020, at S. K Mahoi drive, mothaim village, Freetown, with intent to defraud, obtained the sum of thirty three million Leones from lecturer Isata Mahoi by falsely pretending that he has a land for sale at Mothaim village which is known to be false.
Count 3 states that the accused Bai Thomas Koroma on the same date and place, fraudulently caused lecturer Isata Mahoi to pay the sum of three million Leones to a surveyor to survey the land he purported belonging to him which is known to be false.
He was remanded in the male correctional center in Freetown as the matter is adjourned to the 14 June 2021.
Intent to defraud, obtained the sum of thirty three million Leones from lecturer Isata Mahoi by falsely pretending that he has a land for sale at Mothaim village which is known to be false.
Count 3 states that the accused Bai Thomas Koroma on the same date and place, fraudulently caused lecturer Isata Mahoi to pay the sum of three million Leones to a surveyor to survey the land he purported belonging to him which is known to be false. He was remanded at the male correctional center in Freetown adjourned to the 14 June 2021.
