A twelve year old girl has accused her biological uncle of sexually penetrating her on the 18th May, 2021 at their residence in Koidu city.
When narrating how the incident occurred, the twelve year old girl vividly explained that she and other children were sitting outside their house playing, when her uncle played a comic video on his phone and gave her to watch.
She furthered that in the process of watching the comic video on the phone, the phone got interrupted and in fear for her not to corrupt the phone, she hurriedly return the phone back to her uncle who was lying in his room. She noted that upon given the phone to him, surprisingly, her uncle drew her to the bed and she started shouting “uncle what do you want to do me, please leave me and let me go outside”.
At that moment, the uncle undressed her and allegedly spray a substance believed to be dragon on his penis and started to have sexual intercourse with her thereby using his underwear to cover her mouth. After penetrating me, he gave me twenty five thousand Leones (Le 25,000) and pleaded with me not to tell anyone about the incident and I threw back the money at him and ran outside. The girl stated.
The alleged perpetrator has been arrested and detained at the Tankoro Police divisional headquarters as investigation into the said matter continues.
