President Julius Maada Bio has marked a significant milestone for the people of Tonkolili and the broader Sierra Leonean community by announcing substantial funding aimed at improving the welfare of mining-affected areas.
During a recent visit to Tonkolili, the President presented a cheque for NLe 62,214,818, designated as this year’s community development fund. The funds are intended to empower local populations by facilitating infrastructure improvements, educational opportunities, and healthcare services.
