The caucus leader in the well of parliament for coalition for change (C4C) honourable Saa Emerson Lamina has maintained that some of his colleague members of parliament under the ticket of the C4C need to be schooled on the standing order of parliament in order for them to represent their constituents effectively in parliament.
Honourable Lamina made the statement in a telephone interview with this medium with regards the unbecoming behaviour of his colleague members of parliament that walked out of parliament when the president was about to perform one of his constitutional functions on Tuesday 18th May, 2021.
According to Emerson Lamina, the reason proffered by his colleagues for walking out of parliament are not valid, noting that if they are well abreast with the standing order number three paragraph one of parliament, they should have not deceived their constituents by walking out of parliament for what he described as baseless.
He continued that their absence in the well of parliament was never noticed because the house was well attended with distinguished personalities and dignitaries.
Honourable Saa Emerson Lamina admonished the walked out members of parliament to always avail themselves in parliament, as good and workable laws are only made by attentively attending every session in the well of parliament.
When asked to know his take on the court injunction slammed on the C4C party, Hon. Lamina begged not to comment for the fear of sub-judicature.
