20yrs old Raymond Fangawa made his first appearance before magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court in Freetown on one count charge to wit fraudulent conversation contrary to section 20 (i)(iv)(a) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the charge sheet it was alleged that on the 19th May 2021 at circular road the Western Area in Freetown fraudulently converted to your own use and benefit certain property that is to say the sum of eight hundred thousand Leones (800,000) entrusted to you by one Alpha Amadu Bah for the purpose of delivering the said item property to the complainant, Abass Bangura.
After the charge sheet was read and explained to the accused person; the complainant Abass Bangura lifted his right and told the magistrate that he has received the items and said he do not want the matter to be in court. Magistrate Peter Gogra discharged the matter.
