Security Guard Behind Bars on Alleged Office Breaking

Thirty-seven years old Ibrahim Jalloh a security guard on Monday, 2nd December, 2024, made his appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba Road Court No.2 on a count charge of Office Breaking and Larceny  Contrary to section 26 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of offence on Monday 11th of November, 2024, at Scadep Office at No.1 Sean Drive the western area in Freetown the accused with intent to steal break and entered into the office of Scadep and stole therein seven (7) Conference Chairs each value Eight Thousand Five Hundred Leones (Le 8,500) all to the total value of Fifty-Nine Thousand Five Hundred Leones (Le 59,000) property of Scadep Company whilst in the custody of Usif Rahman Sesay.

When the charge was read and explained to the accused person no plea taken.

The state prosecutor Sergeant 8811 Florence M Wilson sought for short adjournment date because her witness was not present.

The accused person was not legally represented.

Meanwhile, magistrate Bangura refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional facility in Freetown based on the nature of the offence and adjourned the matter to the 10th of December, 2024, for further proceedings.
