30yrs old Tamba Marrah decoration artist made several appearances before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court in Freetown on four count charges to wit Wounding with intent contrary to section 18 of the offence against the person Act 1816, Wounding contrary to section 20 of the offence against the person Act of 1861, Assault occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the offence against person Act of 1861 and malicious damage contrary to section 51 of the malicious damage Act of 1861.
According to the charge sheet on the 12th April 2021 at Hamilton peninsula road in the Western Area in Freetown allegedly wounded and assaulted Mohamed Vandy with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
On count four it was alleged on the charge sheet that the accused person on the 12th April 2021 at Adonkia Freetown in the western Area in Freetown maliciously damaged one wind screen of one hummer jeep with registration number AOW 824 valued four million Leones (4,000,000/00) and one open top window of the same hummer jeep valued two million Leones (2,000,000/00) all to the total value of six million Leones (6,000,000/00) property of Mohamed Daryeek.
The accused person on his second appearance was granted bail in the sum of twenty million Leones two sureties in like sum the sureties must be resided in the Western Area and they should produce their identity cards and they must be gainfully employed and must be 50yrs old to be approved by the DAR.
The accused person was legally represented by Counsel A. Sheriff while the matter was prosecuted by sergeant 1462Amiza John.
However, matter has been discharged.
