Yusif Conteh Kamara, a Labourer, and Osman Sankoh, an electrician, made their first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba Road Court No.1 in Freetown on a count of Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of the offense on the 23rd to 26th September 2024 at Congo Town, the western area of Freetown, Stole one metal stage valued at six thousand Leones (86,000) property of Faith Healing Bible Church.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused, they pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor, Detective Police Constable 17649 Kargbo B, Sought a short adjournment date so that he could have a proper conference with his witness.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent the accused persons to the male correctional facility in Freetown. The matter was adjourned to 29 October 2024.
