Following the recent arrest of least six alleged hard-core armed robbers in Bo city, some residents of Moriba Town in Impere Chiefdom, Bonthe District have commended the newly transferred Local Unit Commander of the Rutile Police Division, Superintendent of police Mustapha A. Senesie on Tuesday 27th August 2034 for embarking on the arrest of the reported suspects.
They were arrested and conveyed from Rutile police division to Bo owing to the hard work and skillful policing strategies of the newly transferred local unit commander Rutile police division superintendent of police Mustapha A. Senesie.
According to them, prior to the assumption of office by LUC Senesie, the Rutile community was notorious for armed robbery and other felonous crimes, noting that the arrest of at least the three suspects from the Rutile division was a testament to the policing expertise demonstrated by the newly transferred Local Unit Commander at Rutile Police Division Superintendent Senesie.
Some of the Residents of Moriba Town who spoke to this medium, Tommy Tucker and Baindu Lebby urged the newly transferred Local Lnit Commander to the Rutile Police Division to maintain the trend he had started, as such benchmark would serve as a replica of the transformation of the Sierra Leone Police Force to that of the Sierra Leone Police Service.
Conveying the three alleged hard-core armed robbers from the Rutile Police Division to the southern regional head quarter Town of Bo for further police investigation, LUC Mustapha A. Senesie told A-Z that, his division would carry the necessary investigation in order to enhance professionalism.
He said one of alleged armed robbers Mohamed S.Turay of Yemoh Town section in Bo maintained that he and his counterpart travelled to Moriba Town on a commercial motorbike on the mandate of a board seller along Ngalu Road in Bo Abdul AKA D1 for a purpose he never knew.
According to LUC Senesie, whilst the two suspects and the commercial motorbike rider were on their way to Moriba Town Impere chiefdom Bonthe District, they kept communicating on phone with someone that was to house them in Moriba Town.
The Local Unit Commander attached at Rutile Police Division further pointed out that the second suspect identified as Junior Lappia according to police investigation travelled to Moriba Town prior to when the other two suspects ran out of luck and were arrested, and later told the police about his presence in town and was equally arrested.
LUC Senesie stressed that the second suspect was not only arrested but his mobile phone which he was communicating on with his counterparts has been collected from him also for further investigation at the cyber unit of the Sierra Leone police force.
Concluding, the newly transferred Local Unit Commander noted that the third suspect was arrested because of the exhibits found at the his mother’s place, who was reported to have taken to her heels together with her daughter immediately the information of the arrest of the suspects broke out .
” With your support l will make my division a crime free zone or division,” LUC Senesie maintained.
