The head of Police Media in Bo district, Inspector Mohamed Bobson Senu has disclosed that they have discovered a huge quantity of medical drugs at the resident of one Michael Mansaray aka Magba in the district, and who is not a medical practitioner.
According to Inspector Senu, the discovery of the said drugs was done on the 28th April following a search made at the suspect’s resident after he (Magba) made a disparaging statement against President Bio at the Bo Mini Stadium that went viral on the social media.
He said that Magba is not a medical worker and by law he should not be in possession of a large quantity of drugs, but that the suspect claimed that he bought it from a pharmacy in Bo.
Inspector Senu refuted the rumors making the rounds that the suspect has been manhandled for making disparaging statement against the President and has died, which is false and baseless.
He cautioned the public not to go by such misleading information as the suspect is alive and that the matter has been charged to court.
However, some residents of Bo has condemned the misbehavior of ‘Magba’ and called on the court to take drastic action against him to serve as a deterrent.
According Josephine Koroma in Bo, “I am not SLPP but APC and the misbehavior of Magba is unaccepted and has landed him in hot waters with two offences- illegal possession of drugs and raining abusive statement against the President.”
Martha Kargbo another resident in Bo said “Magba is wicked by storing drugs that the people are in dire need of. This is a serious offence. I want to suggest that the police should thoroughly investigate the pharmacy or drug store where he claimed to have bought those drugs from.”
